Seacat Found Guilty

June 11, 2013 By Monica

The jury came back today with a guilty verdict of first degree murder, aggravated arson and two counts of child endangerment, in the Kansas cop that shot his wife and then set fire to their home with her inside.  No surprise there at all!  In fact, if the jury had come back with anything different I would have suggested the jury be examined for bribes or mental issues.  Seriously though, his defense team had little to work with and the defense that she committed suicide just did not make sense.  Hopefully now her family can have a sense of peace, although I doubt the children will ever know complete peace knowing their father killed their mother.
